Plus did you know that if a minor is served alcohol in your establishment that your are responsible for any personal injury or property damage that may occur to the minor, plus any personal injury or property damage they may cause others because of the impeding intoxication. Lets don't forget your employees, you as a license holder are responsible for their personal injury and property damage if they consume alcohol and become intoxicated at work. Serving alcohol is a BIG Responsibility So, What Can You Do? What are the consequences besides the Law suits ? To the Seller/Server Sale or service to an intoxicated person:An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $500, by confinement in jail for not more than one year, or by both. If a person has been previously convicted of this violation, or the sale to a minor, a second violation is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $500 nor more than $1,000, by confinement in jail for not more than one year, or by both. Sale or service to a minor: An offense under this section is a Class A misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not more than $4,000, by confinement in jail for not more than one year, or by both.
